Opal Negra Millsite & Rock Garden - Virgin Valley
| Our millsite is just 2 miles south of the CCC campground
on a graded dirt road, it is well marked by signs - you can't miss it!
When you are in the valley you
are invited to drop by to visit our free rock garden - featuring Pacific Northwest
materials with an emphasis on local Nevada products. Of course,
while you're here you really should take advantage of the time to look
through our "miner's shed" - we've got it loaded it up with opals and
jewelry! You might even want to test your miner's skill in the "Mini
Dig"; our salted tailings pile. It's the only place in the Valley
you can dig for less than a full day's fee.
